Color sensor nominated for awards
In 2005 the industrial Perceptive Color Sensor PCS-II from Silicann Technologies GmbH became already a candidate for an award. In issue 26 of the journal “Elektronik” the PCS-II was nominated as product of the year 2005 in the category “Sensors”. Furthermore the PCS-II is one of three aspirants for the Embedded Award 2006 in the area of “Hardware”. This prize is awarded annually by an independent jury of electronic experts on the embedded world trade fair.

Sees colors just like we do
Every visible object possesses a color.
On the one hand colors are specifically used for the aesthetical formation of products. In this case reproducible coloring is an essential quality criterion for a product. Hence during the production process a color sensor is required for supervising the quality of color.
